Progressive Center of Gravity
Optimizing the position of the center of gravity (CG) is one of the keys to producing the best flight, accuracy and forgiveness in a wedge. SM10 features a progressive CG that is individually calibrated for each loft for maximum performance. In the higher lofts, the CG has shifted both higher and forward toward the face. This move produces lower, more controlled flight with greater stability. Combined with increased MOI, SM10 delivers exceptional feel and consistency.
Patented Spin Milled Process For Maximun Spin
The patented Spin Milled® grooves in SM10 are meticulously engineered through a proprietary cutting process. Each groove is individually cut based on loft and finish; with narrower, deeper grooves in lower lofts (46°-54°) and wider, shallower grooves in higher lofts (56°-62°). Micro-grooves are cut between each groove to maximize spin on partial shots. A proprietary heat treatment is applied to the impact area – doubling the durability without altering feel – for the most durable grooves in golf. The process is only complete when each wedge is 100% inspected for utmost quality and performance.
Tour Proven Grinds
Anyone can manufacture a wedge, but it takes a master to turn a piece of high-performance technology into an instrument of creative control. Bob’s six tour-proven grinds are designed to offer maximum creativity, versatility and consistency, all meticulously developed through years of working with the best players in the world. Getting set up with grinds that fit your swing, preferred shot types and playing conditions will give you the best turf interaction, contact and shot performance.
A GRIND
The A Grind comes from similar origins as the A Grind. Both are similar in the fact that they both came from smoothing out the grind lines on some classic Vokey grinds. The name A comes from the idea that it is a similar grind to the A Grind but has more width and more bounce than the A grind. Hence the plus. The A will still have a smooth, fast feel through the turf but will suit players who need the club to dig less than an A Grind.
V GRIND
The Vokey Design V Grind, a lob wedge that offers players increased bounce on square-faced shots with enhanced relief for open-faced shots. V Grind, the lob wedge of choice of Tour players such as Ludvig Åberg and Billy Horschel, features high measured bounce forward on the sole, which works to prevent excessive digging. However, when the face of V Grind is opened, its heel, toe and trailing edge sole relief allows the leading edge to stay closer to the ground, providing exceptional versatility. This grind is ideal for players with a steeper angle of attack playing in normal to soft conditions.
